Cropping a PDF removes the outer margins of a page, narrowing the visible area to focus on specific content. This is useful when a scanned document has large blank borders, when a page contains a diagram that you want to isolate, or when you need to remove headers and footers from a PDF that will be reused in a new layout.
DocumentFlipper lets you draw a crop box visually by dragging handles on a page preview. The crop is applied to all pages or to individual pages depending on your preference. Cropping modifies the PDF's crop box property — the content outside the crop area is hidden rather than permanently deleted, which means the file size does not change significantly.
