About PDF page flipper

Flipping PDF pages is occasionally needed when working with mirrored scans, print-ready layouts, or documents that were captured in reverse orientation. DocumentFlipper's flip tool lets you mirror pages horizontally or vertically — reflecting them like a mirror image — entirely within your browser.

This tool is fully client-side: your PDF is never uploaded to any server. All processing happens locally using the pdf-lib library running in your browser. Your file never leaves your device, which means the conversion is instant regardless of your internet connection speed and completely private.

Because no server round-trip is needed, there are no file size restrictions related to upload bandwidth, and your document is available for download as soon as the in-browser processing completes.

Frequently asked questions

Does this tool upload my file to a server?
No. This tool is 100% client-side. Your PDF is processed entirely in your browser and never leaves your device.
What is the difference between horizontal and vertical flip?
Horizontal flip mirrors the page left-to-right (as if held up to a mirror). Vertical flip mirrors it top-to-bottom (upside-down and reversed).
Is there a file size limit?
Because processing happens in your browser, very large PDFs may take longer. There is no server-side size restriction.
Can I flip only some pages?
Currently the tool flips all pages. For selective flips, consider using Split PDF first to isolate the pages you need.
Will text be readable after flipping?
Horizontal flip produces a mirror image where text appears reversed. This is expected behaviour for a mirror flip operation.
